- Website you’re submitting shouldn’t be a mirror site because Mirror sites are sites that contain identical content, but have altogether different URLs.
- Always submit unique content site and also multiple submissions of the same or related sites may result in the exclusion and/or deletion of those and all affiliated sites.
- Deep linking of your website or different pages of same website submission is strictly restricted. Example: http://www.dmoz.org and http://www.dmoz.org/index.html
- Keep in mind that never submits a site with an address that redirects to another address.
- Site which is having any illegal content is against the OPD policy. Examples of illegal material include child pornography; libel; material that infringes any intellectual property right; and material that specifically advocates, solicits or abets illegal activity (such as fraud or violence).
- If a site is “under construction” then don’t even try to submit it and wait until your site is complete before adding for inclusion.
- Suppose you want submit pornographic sites then select the appropriate category under Adult.
- Avoid submitting sites consisting largely of affiliate links.

my site has passed all those conditions above, but never get listed on dmoz
^^ same as above, have tried once a year for three years, all original content. DMOZ wants you to think they are an improved animal since the meltdown, but it’s the same as it ever was.
